Project Purpose
The Dove Refillable deodorant is a genius product idea when it comes to sustainability aspects. The product has the potential to grow and develop into an industry-shaping product. The first design for this product unfortunately falls short of consumer expectations.
The redesign of this product is to target key issues and to create a more durable product for a long-lasting user experience.

- Deodorant stick replacements are easy to replace
- Stainless steel casing for durability
Existing Packaging Analysis
The major flaw in the existing Dove Refillable Deodorant packaging design is that when this design was made there was no consideration for “side loads” while using the product. This results in the deodorant stick breaking, as I and many others have experienced firsthand.
Ultimately, adding to the waste it was meant to remove!
